Learning History

The purpose of The Learning History is to capture the learning and the experience of \'change\' in systems in a way that is people based. It does this by collecting real time information and data, primarily through interviewing those involved in the change process. The interviews themselves often act as a catalyst for thought and all information is anonymised, which allows people to speak their real thoughts and beliefs. The Learning History presents both the good and the bad and there is no right answer. The Learning History report is presented as a mixture of factual information and narrative. The narrative presents the change process through the voices of those interviewed, alongside an unbiased commentary guiding the reader through the experiences and learning of the organisation. The document will be used by individuals and groups as a learning tool and also as a reference for others in similar areas to be able to do similar things.
